On Friday, November 2, Aronson Insurance, in partnership with Arbella Insurance, hosted an event at Newton North High School, to raise awareness of Distracted Driving. In attendance were Newton Mayor Setti Warren, Newton Police Chief Howard Mintz, School Committee members, Alderman and students, amongst others. Aronson Insurance sponsored “Distractology 101: A Crash Course In Distracted Driving,” a program offered by Arbella Insurance, to teach new drivers the drivers the dangers of distracted driving. The campaign features a 36-foot-long, neon-yellow mobile classroom, which was parked along Lowell Ave, outfitted with high-tech driving simulators designed to give new drivers the chance to experience the perils of distracted driving, including texting while driving.
