Steven J. Aronson
President & CEO

Steven is a third generation insurance professional. His insurance career started with his father in their small, family insurance agency in 1975 after graduating from the University Of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Financial Management degree. He is a licensed insurance agent/broker/producer in 12 states and holds the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor.

Steven has led the firm through acquisitions of several agencies as well as setting the tone for organic growth. In 1990 he became President of the company. Property & Casualty premiums in 2011 approached $20,000,000.

In addition to leading the agency, he is also an insurance educator and insurance industry technology expert. He serves the insurance industry in leadership positions on various national committees (ACT, ACORD, AUGIE and NetVU), often lecturing at insurance conferences around the country.

 

Steven’s client work is with the firm’s larger, more complex accounts. His strong, broad business and finance background provide him with the professional tools to be a trusted advisor and risk manager for clients in the Retail, Wholesale, Real Estate, Professional, Technology and Biotechnology sectors.

In addition to his insurance industry work, Steve servers on the boards of various local volunteer and civic groups, including the New England division of The Jewish National Fund and Treasurer of Temple Beth Avodah in Newton.

Bunny M. Aronson

Bunny is a third generation insurance professional and started working at Aronson Insurance in 1984, alongside her father and brother. Almost 25 years in the business, Bunny is responsible for the agency’s personal insurance, where she brings in and retains new clients. She is a CISR, Certified Insurance Service Representative.

Bunny is a graduate of Curry College She grew up in and currently resides in Newton.

David A Kaplan

David has over 30 years of experience in asset protection and financial management and is a well-known speaker, advisor and educator in the Boston community. His sound, conservative advice and tax-saving strategies helped numerous clients grow and protect their past, existing, and future assets.

David was a Professor in the Financial Planning and Taxation program at Bentley College, Waltham, MA, where he also served as a member of the curriculum committee of his department. He remains active in the Greater Boston community with education workshops for accounting and tax professionals, as a guest lecturer in area law schools, and as a consultant to legal and accounting firms.

David has published articles in Advisor Today, the monthly magazine of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and was highlighted in a cover story about advising the “Baby Boomer Generation” and their parents.  David holds a Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Licensed Insurance Advisor (LIA).

Eileen has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.  She joined Aronson Insurance in 1997 and is currently the General Manager of the company. Eileen is responsible for overseeing all of the underwriting, customer service and marketing efforts.

Eileen began her insurance career in underwriting and claims for Sentry Insurance, a major national insurance company. She later joined a regional insurance broker and spent 13 years providing senior account management services to mid and large sized commercial clients.

Kevin joined Aronson Insurance in 2011 as Vice President of Business and Private Client Services. With twenty-three years of experience in the insurance industry, Kevin is responsible for helping the Aronson Insurance team to expand sales in both Business Insurance and Private Client markets, specifically with real estate portfolios, restaurant groups, and non-profit institutions.

Formerly, Kevin served as a Vice President of Insurance Solutions for Krauter & Company, a national brokerage firm specializing in consultative risk management for Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to that role, Kevin was the operations and sales manager at Sheldon Cohen Insurance, based in Needham.  In addition, Kevin served as Agency Manager, New England Region, at Travelers Insurance, and was co-owner of McCormick & Sons, an independent agency in Avon.

Kirbi is an industry expert with 12 years of experience. She joined Aronson Insurance in 2002 and is the Private Client Services Account Manager. Kirbi specializes in the insurance needs of high net worth individuals and families. Her clients have multiple homes, significant collections, high-valued assets, board of directors (D&O) responsibilities and extensive multi-generational family considerations.  Kirbi’s expertise includes Homeowners, Automobile, High Excess Liability, Valuable Articles, Workers Compensation, Boat/Yacht, Family Protection and Employers Liability Insurance.

Prior to her current role, Kirbi worked at Neal Dastrup Insurance agency in Utah from 1999-2002.  She attended MCC in Mesa Arizona and is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).  Kirbi resides with her husband and their two daughters, Lillabeth and Sadie.

Lisa started her career with Simon Kaplan Insurance Agency in 1986 and joined Aronson Insurance when the two agencies merged in 1993. Lisa holds a BS in Education from Northeastern University.

Prior to her current role, Nikki worked at Amica for two years.  She currently resides in the Greater Boston area.

Sandy started her insurance career with American Hardware where she held production, underwriting and account service positions. After assuming client service and marketing responsibilities with an area insurance agency, Sandy held a senior account management position with a large regional insurance broker where she focused on providing service to mid and large sized commercial clients.

Sandy is a Certified Insurance Counselor, and is currently pursuing her CPCU and CRM designations.
